“I can remember when I was naïve and reckless,

And I thank you for all you’ve done you deserve this poem, and no less…

An uncut gem and unpolished stone,

An unrecruited love someone all alone,

Misunderstood emotions writhe within my skull,

All theses unsaid thoughts of mine devour all my soul,

Confusion and deceit riddle all this earth,

All these feelings left unexpressed, make me question my duty, question my worth,

How in this world can I grow brilliant and shine?

I have no one who will stay to share their thoughts with mine,

To love and to cherish, to be my most compassionate friend,

Loyal and loving, truthful to the very end,

Unsaid wishes and unanswered prayers,

I want to know love is coming, not be caught unawares,

A growing tree, and unbloomed blossom,

Waiting for their time to come, to like me learn where they came from,

An unpainted canvas, an undiscovered past,

I want my true love to find me I only hope our love will last,

An unfulfilled duty, a dream that’s yet to come true,

A dream of one day being with you,

True love in the making,

A deep sleeper awakening,

My eyes open, a new world I’ve never seen,

Now more awake and aware than I’ve ever been,

I have grown in to the person I want to be,

And I fear not that others see,

You have helped my mind and body grow,

It seems now the more I fall in love with you the more I know,

A place others dare not go,
